MEN WORD CLASSIC (Word For Value). Topic: The truthful man-Prov.20:6.
Man was created in the image of God and he is expected to function like him. Truth is the essence of God and any man who does not follow His true path can never do things successfully without His presence. The high level of corruption today has slow down the morale of most
men today so that has made them to be in the 'low ebb'. The Bible stated,' Most men will proclaim everyone his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?'(Prov.20:6). What are the things to be considered?
 (1) Deception: This is a way of life of a carnal man and this is where he takes pride. Deceptive men are known in their words, actions and dealings (Prov.20:17).
(2) Desire: 'The desire of a man his kindnesses (Prov.19:22). A truthful man is known with his kind attitude towards people and his openness.
(3) Divers weights: A truthful man don't use evil means in getting things (Prov.20:23). He does things right to get things right.
(4) Desirable treasure: Once the Lord finds good in you then He loads you with benefits. But you need wisdom to access them (Prov.21:20).
(5) Diligent: 'Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks and look well to thy herds' (Prov.27:23). A man of truth is always active in doing things well and works on things so that things will work for him.
(6) Delight: He delights in the word, will and ways of the Lord. Then he gives him a delightful result (Ps.37:4).
(7) Devotion: He set His time apart for God and for godly purposes. (Ps.34:22)."
